Serena Tsao
Co-Founder & Executive Director

Serena Tsao

Serena is a current junior at the Bronx High School of Science. She co-founded Just In Case of Emergency with professional paramedics to spread emergency preparedness to everyone. She strongly believes that emergency education is a right, not a privilege, and hopes to spread that mission everywhere. As the Executive Director, she oversees all teams and processes that keep JICE running.

Content Director

Sophie Jin

Sophie is a sophomore at Bergen County Academies. She is passionate about improving emergency preparedness and raising awareness about the gaps in emergency response systems. As the Director of Content & Art, Sophie directs the article writing process and aims to educate individuals with the knowledge and confidence needed to act in emergency situations.

Aaron Shi

Aaron Shi is a sophomore at Manhasset Secondary School. He is passionate about strengthening community preparedness and ensuring communities are equipped to respond in critical situations. He believes that emergency education should be accessible to everyone and is committed to expanding its reach. As the Co-Director of Outreach, he leads initiatives in community outreach, partnerships, and sponsorships to grow JICE's impact.

Outreach Director

Michelle Liu

Michelle is a junior at Berlin High School and is an Outreach Team Manager at Just In Case of Emergency. She is passionate about healthcare and improving the lives of others, especially when it comes to emergency preparedness. As the Outreach Team Manager, Michelle focuses on building a network of partnerships and sponsorships to expand JICE's impact on lifesaving skills education within local communities.

Vinnie is a sophomore at the Bronx High School of Science. He strives to share emergency education in a way that is clear and accessible for everyone. He manages and creates engaging content to educate communities on emergency readiness through social media.
